Achivements of POLLACHI ECONOMIC CHMABER
DURING 2023 – 2024 IN EDUCATION AWARENESS
Introduction
The PEC is known as Pollachi Economic Chamber which was started by few well-known people who are living in Pollachi during 2020 and the first meeting started with all masjid representatives was started on feb 2021. The vision of the chamber is derived from the principles created by Moulana Dr.Kaleel ahmed muniri ji that is spiritual, education to all Muslims, economic development, and community participation. The vision and mission of the PEC is as follows. 1. Spiritual 2. Good universal education 3. Economic sustainable development 4. Social community participation and living.
Vision Get developed by development
The developed society is a society that each and every individual got developed by himself in the society with the society’s welfare and development in a well mannered way.
Mission Unite by unity
It is good instead thinking the society to join with us we can take participated in the society . Those people who are all doing some activities to the welfare of the society should not be treated against our principles and we should take part in it and we have to contribute our part with them.
Objectives
- In all times and stages we have to call people towards good initiative and protecting from bad things and making them to bow to Allah and prophet PUB is the only solution to become the society is a well being society.
- Taking good effort to unite people into one. Unity is not taking a unique on doing a target , instead the individuals efficiency to be used towards a target . The social development should be taken part with a conscience of a Ameer.
- Frequent meeting of social activators is one among the hard activities , so that the understanding and love with each other will get together while doing these activities.
With the above concept we have started our activities among the muslim society interacting through masjid mohallas , contacting people direct , and through social media like whatsapp etc. more than 10 whatsapp groups are functioning for various people like students , business people , youth group for sharing information about employment opportunities , business opportunities , and general information. We are giving major exposure to education guidelines to the students studying from nine to plus two and sending to them to higher education either diploma or UG in various disciplines. For which we are organizing education awareness program in prominent location and through Friday sermon , distributing notices etc. the program will be organized right from December to may month . At least three awareness meetings will be organized inviting prominent teachers , college lecturers , government officers from education department and other various disciple so as to give a good information to students and their parents to understand the importance of the education . in every meeting at least 200 students with their parents will attend and get information of various subjects such as job opportunities , profession , business and technology information. The first educational career guidamce program was organized at Pollachi on 21.01.2024 in which 122 students were participated with their parents. Out of 122 students participateda huge amount of girls are the bright side showing a number of 78 and remaining 44 is boys. Which shows that the 78 future generation family will never loss the education. A brain storming session was conducted by the chief Educational officer Dindigul Janab .Nasirudeen to the students. In his address to the gathering that education alone will take you to this developing world and your family will also get uplifted by your education. Education is the tool to travel in all the ways and whether you select a profession or business , education will help all betterment. Mostly our mind thinks that if we study we have to go to a job and tend some perks for our day to day life. It is not like that. See this world. Business without any production is the talent now. Take example of Ola, Uber, Amazon etc. unless we got well educated we can’t take our family and society to the highest point.
Janab. Zamirulla who delivered his address about the importance of the spiritual studies with the world education . with spiritual studies we can go to all over the world where the need of spiritual orators and need of lecturers , professor in Islamic colleges and universities in Gulf countries .Professor Sidiq ahmed who is working as Commerce HOD in a private college namely Saraswathy Thiyagaraja College of arts and science Pollachi has given a brief details about the arts and science and the need of commerce studies both in private and government departments. Even a commerce student can start a auditing profession and the need of the auditors in the business society. The world is moving in a economic growth and commerce students alone can handle this type of necessity. Janab, Sadiq basha who is working as a professor in Governemt arts college Udumalpet has delivered his speech how a eighth completed student can go up to a Phd level by entering in to a ITI course , followed by Diploma , UG ,PG and finally doctorate, All is possible only if our sincere attempt will give a good success. He also stressed the students to select government colleges for their studies to have a knowledge based study with a smaller expenses. Professor Raja mohammed who is a Phd discipline and working as a Professor in a Engineering college at Coimbatore has given a eye opener speech on Engineering courses which are leading this world form infrastructure , automotive , medical equipment , hard ware and soft ware in information technology , and Artificial Intelligence. The information shared by the professor had given about job opportunities right from international , national , and entrepreneur. He has given example of engineers who grown from Chennai and ruling Microsoft , Google , and too many international company heads. Janab. Kaja who is working as a Assistant Head Master and Chemistry master in Municipal Boys High School Pollachi has given a good speech about the competitive examinations in various discipline right from going to UG courses in central universities , law colleges, medical colleges, and financial institutions .The students are very eager to understand this subject and interestingly asked questions about it since such information may not they got it from public domain.
Totally this awareness program gave them a good knowledge about higher studies in various discipline. Likewise a students education awareness program was organized by the PEC with Sunnath Jamath Dakni Jamia masjid at Pollachi on 05.05.2024. In this meeting about 148 students participated and similar brain storming speech by various disciple were given. The Secretary of the masjid who was a sub collector retired from revenue department shared his experience in various departments and the services we can render to the community. Unless otherwise we take participate in administrative side we can’t survive a peaceful life in this world is his highlight of the speech. Students were interacted with the professors , lecturers and other teachers specified with various subject like Medicine , Engineering , law and arts and science. The students data was collected in a specified form and there wish to join in various subjects in UG analyzed and financial capacities , need of help were scrutinized . With the information we got we helped to about 20 students to higher studies who are very badly needed the financial need. The financial need of the students was Rs.11.00 lakhs and PEC has arranged about Rs.7.00 lakhs through various heling people. The fund required by the students was directly paid to the college and no cash disbursed to the students. Out of 20 students who got help from PEC during this year 12 were girls student and 8 are boys. When a woman become literate the next generation will also get good education and it is proven one in our state . The World Bank itself appreciated the vision of women education and the strategy followed to this vision in the early of 2000. Now we see the education enrolment in higher studies. With all means and ways the state government taken for the education to all still our muslim community is lacking behind and still we see that girls were got married by the age 18 and below. In order to break such a situation in our community PEC is following some principle in helping to the community by adopting preference to Widows , separated , physically disabled and finally poor students hailing among from this group.
